CRPA GNSS Antennas: GPS, BeiDou, Galileo and GLONASS Under Jamming

A CRPA GNSS antenna protects every constellation it receives, not just GPS. Which constellations and bands it covers is decided by the hardware, so check them before you choose.

CRPA for GNSS, not just GPS

A controlled reception pattern antenna works on any satellite signal that falls inside its bands. A CRPA GNSS antenna that covers GPS L1, BeiDou B1 and Galileo E1 protects all three at once, because a jammer in that part of the spectrum hits them all together and the null removes it from all of them.

Using several constellations matters under interference: more satellites in view means a better geometry and a fix that survives when part of the sky is degraded.

Single band or dual band?

Most CRPA GNSS antennas in the range work in the L1/B1/E1 band. If you need a second frequency — for accuracy, or because your receiver expects it — the TX-009Pro-8CH-BD-WG-DT adds BDS B3, GPS L2 or GPS L5, chosen at order. A jammer has to cover both bands to deny both, which raises the bar for the attacker.

GLONASS: check before you choose

GLONASS G1 sits at a slightly different frequency from GPS L1, and it is not present on every model. If your receiver or your operating region depends on GLONASS, pick from the models that list GLONASS G1.

Choosing a CRPA GNSS antenna

Match three things: the constellations and bands your receiver uses, the number of jammers you expect (N elements null N−1), and your weight and power budget. All eight are in our CRPA antenna range; or send us your platform and we will name the model.
